control chord - cdj 200 ??

hiii
i recently lost one of my control chords that pioneer gave me with my cdj 200... but im not really sure what they do and if i really need to get another one...
so if anyone could please help me out in this thatd be great!!

you don't really need it (IMO at least). it's used to start the track on the cdj (when cued) using fader start (if your mixer supports it). it's basically that the track on the cdj will start playing once you slam the fader up. you can also connect two cdjs together with one. then the other cdj starts playing the cued track when the other one stops.
and afaik the cord is just basic 3,5 mm mono miniplug (i think it was on my cdj-100s' at least).

Yeah it's just a 1/8" mono jack, you can pick one up anywhere.

There a youtube video of someone doing some kinda cool scratch type tricks using the fader starts (provided your mixer supports it). I don't really have much use for it myself.

I've messed around with fader start a bit. There's potential for some really cool tricks with it, but I haven't given it enough time.
