Did any Ta's go to the Winter Music Conference in Miami This year? Please tell us how it was. I want to go to WMC more than to the white Isle. Just can't afford the Miami Price on WMC week.

I went. I posted a thread to see if anyone from here was going, but no one replied.
I had a good time. Seemed like last years' was a bit more fun, but the last party I went to was the BEST- John '00' Flemming, Judge Jules, Darren Pearce, Johan Gielenm & Tiesto. |

how much cash di u have to bring? I estimated a trip last yr with 3 friends. I told them total for hotel, drinking and parting non stop for 4-5 days would need $1300 american. How much did u do?

| Not including airfare, we spent about $800-1000 CAN. That included sharing a hotel room, rental car, & party costs. We didn't do much drinking down there (alcohol only reminds u how tired u REALLY are from the lack of sleep, & is best avoided), but at the clubs, the average costs of beverages are $6 for a bottle of water, $7 for Red Bull, & $10 for alcoloic beverage- all in US funds. At least they pour heavy there.... |

sounds familar to my F1 week in montreal. The drink and hotels go to sky rocket prices for formula one. You go to a bar u tip the bouncer for finding u a seat. tip the door man for finding a bouncer. you have to tip the waitress before she brings back what u ordered. Then she will come back. When u pay then u tip again so she will come by in 10 - 15 mins. TIP ALWAYS. BUT THATS THE PRICE I PAY FOR F1. Your're only there once a yr. It costs a lot for a drink and this is @ all bars in montreal durring f1.

last year pvd, john OO Fleming, and a bunch of other djs i can't remeber now cause i was so lost that weekand. 3 days of NO sleep. This year Guy Ordenal is going to be there on sat. and seat tickets for the race have been long sold out. I bought mine back in sept. U can still buy a 3 day general; admission pass for $75. Which is a good price for 3 days. u would sit on the grass or something. but the Mercedes maclearn built a club for the week. never got in but looked amazing from outside.

That sounds horrible!! Thing is, those prices are the norm in South Beach, regardless of what event is in town. One cheap thing in Miami: parking!!!!! $1 US an hour in all the lots and garages. Forget about finding street parking.... |
