what time is desyn on? I would assume around 6pm?
btw, the piknic website sucks...it's so hard to find anything on there besides the lineup, takes forever to load, no map to the jardin etc. |

Desyn KILLED it!! Man o man, so dirty! Between the odd shower and the argonauts arriving after Morales, it was a sick sick time. I find le jardin des floralies a sick venue, it's a nice change from place de l'homme. It was great to drown out Manu Chao in the background!!
can't wait for the next piknic....my home!!! |

was there all day, saw a ton of you and had a blast..pics and review to come....2 things for now...
1.Desyn scared me in the beginning by playing caca but ht madr up for it big time bringing out the tech house monster.
2.Eddie Jasmin is the worst dj in Montreal.
that is all.
(you dont need huge buildups every song...you know some might actually want to dance and not look at bobbing dreads.) |

I left piknic early since the gf and I had Manu tix... which apparently I didn't have to since he didn't f*cking start till ~8:30...
I'm sad I missed Desyn... When I left the dancefloor looked like this:

no disrespect to them, I was just saying the location and soundsystem were good enough that we didn't hear the music from Jean Drapeau.
On my walk over to the jardin, I wasn't sure how much of the two shows would overlap, so I was happily surprised. |

| by the time desyn got on it was packed...the rain was actually a blessing. It pumped up the crowd during a very uninspired Jasmin set. It was so bad i almost left before the main act. |
