Sidechain Compression in Reason: Kick and Bass

| When sidechaining the bass to the kick so that the kick triggers the compressor on the bass is Reason what approx settings should I use on the compressor? Any input would be great |

| there are no standard setings....tweak the ratio and the threshold until it sounds the way you want it. |

for me good settings are:
ratio 1:6 ; knee: soft;
attack: 1:0 ms ; release 150 ms
tresh: -20 dB

high ratio... maybe 8.
attack - instant
release - depends on kick
thresh - depends on trigger volume. |
