wow, that last track would get you deep throated back in 1966 :p

other than that little attempt at humour...yay or nay?

Your transitions are on average .000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds long, I think I hear a lot of the tracks actually ending also, Sven Vath style hehe.

But I suppose transition length is subjective, mine are often far too long, then again im changing that up next time around hehe.
all-nite-freak
think it might be leveling issues, because some of the transitions ran pretty long...then again glitchy tracks can be hard to tell apart.
point well taken:D

Well you def. picked tunes that worked together, so it may just be a trick of the ears, I only know a few of the tunes.

The mixing was damn good! First mix aside it was good, no noticeable mistakes and Im not sure if you intentionally mixed this in key or not but it sounds damn close!

Only "complaint", not even a complaint since this mix seems as though it was more of a leisure type "I want you all to hear these sexy tunes" kinda thing, is that it's kind of monotonous, not much progression, even for a tech house/techno mix.

But, that's such a retarded and specific thing to care about, especially for a mix that was just over an hour long, if you were at a club dropping an hour of music like that would work perfectly, even sans le progression.

Anyway, ing solid first mix.

Keep your ears peeled for my next one, due out at the end of the month I hope, going to actually hand this one out and what not, try and con my way into an inny-bitty gig before I bust over the Atlantic.

first mix in awhile...in had decks when i was younger, i just a one of those people like the comic book colectors who want everything sealed.
if i didn't strike it lucky i was gonna pawn wax for a house down payment.
Appreciate the time you took...only doing this to occupy my time and keep out of jail.

I liked this track: Daso - Sam n Max [Conaisseur] but would prefer more techy and upbeat tracks from there. Mixing was pretty sound but keep in mind I'm nOObish compared to some of you beat junkies.

What rock have you been hiding under?

Jay this mix is very impressive, I love most of the tracks you use and what you've made out of it! I'd go berserk if I heard a set like this live in Montreal, actually I'm quite sure the berlin germans would go mental to this too...

Very solid stuff Freak, especially since this is your first!! I look forward to hearing more of you stuff!!

Oh and yeah, I'm gonna be using a couple of the tracks from ur tracklist, hope its cool :)

Thanks Moe your input means alot :)
Like i said before, i've messed around with mixing in the past, it kind of comes with the territory when you've been listening to this stuff as long as i have. Disposable income and free time just make it a hell of alot easier to learn. Use all the tracks you want, I'm not doing this to try and gig just cause I like doing it. Productions coming soon ;)

ps i will bump this thread all summer until i get a mitsu review...i don't care if he hasn't seen his family in months...this is obviously more important.:p
This set was totally inspired by Mutek and Carl Mothering Craig soon! Mtl how it should be:)

Pretty sweet mix, it's very 'up' feeling. Not what I'm into at the moment but this would definitely rock some afters. Reminds me of DC10 in Ibiza :happy2: I LAIKE!! I've been listening to it during my commute to/from work and it gets the blood all riled up, makes me want to smack bad drivers. But I LOVE the last track :stongue:
