You wanna know something ? since the all star break Ottawa has a .707 winning percantage. They knocked off PIttsburg one of the best offensive teams in the league, then NJ with the best goalie in the world.
And Buffalo what stuggled against and Islanders team that had a goalie who was still seeing stars.
I don't wanna be cocky, but Ottawa is the better of the two teams, their play clearly indicates more desire to win, buffalo might be talented but obviously its an issue when everyone thinks they are the star on the team. Buffalo is doing the same thing Ottawa did last year. Best team in the league of the bat struggle down the final stretch and in the playoffs.
P.S. Buffalos last year playoff victory was pure B/S, I don't think there is a sports franchise that pulls of more b/s then Buffalo. |

Guess i was wrong they didnt play with no heart. Got to give the sens credit they are a great team and played hard.
I still stand by emery sucks. You sens fans better hope your D plays this well against whom ever they play for the cup cuase if any team gets any deccent chances they will score and make it tuff to win the cup.
Dam i though this was the best sabres team i have ever scene too.:( :( |

Ouch...that one hurt. Excellent defense by Ottawa.
And no, Emery doesn't suck. He just wasn't tested. Last year he didn't suck either, he was simply lacking experience.
Sabres need to get some breaks to avoid a sweep. Ottawa's only goal came on a crazy bounce off the boards, but that's the way it goes. |

Great game tonight. Definitely a lucky bounce for Ottawa. Defence was great tonight, once again not allowing a thing at all on the penalty kill.
Miller also played very well,it could have been worse for the Sabres, especially in the first period. They seemed to be lacking any kind of team play and energy tonight.
Buffalo really needs to step it up if they stand any chance. |
