The Dentist =(

so here's my story from today, the last 3/4 weeks ive been having pain in my mouth... the teeth next to the wisdom tooth on the left of the bottom jaw was hurting like hell.. i just took some paracetamol whenever i had pain and thought it would go over.. but it didnt and continued hurting. so i called the dentist last week to make an apointment for today at 5pm. so i waited in the waiting room untill it was my turn.. so they called my name and told me to have a seat. i told him the story about my teeth, so he checked what was wrong..

they always start looking in your mouth with a little mirror and one of those needle type of hook pulling on your fillings.. so he started to pull on the teeth where i had most pain (with silver filling) and the tooth broke 1/4 off.. wtf:nervous: decay inside he had to clean lol..

to make a long story short, he started pulling on the filling to take it away because he had to put a new one.. i had my eyes closed while he was doing that, and opened my eyes and he had a ing injection in my mouth, i was like WTF you put a ing needle in my mouth without even telling me?!

anyway he ended up filling the teeth with a lot of pain in the end.

i hate dentist.. my mouth was numbe untill like 4 hours after the visit. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

anybody else who hates them? :(

such hotties.

last time i was @ the dentists, they were sticking these wooden stakes in between my teeth (i guess as spacers) and one says to the other "where is the last one?" The other one says "i don't know." and then like 5 minutes later she goes "ooo, there it is!"
And then there was the time she was doing a no-look drill up, which i'm guessing she learned from Kobe. She was talking to another dentist and not looking while she was drilling my teeth.
I guess that's why they forced me to sign the waiver about me not pressing any court action against them if there is a -up.

i dont think a lot of people do enjoy going to the dentist

and about the needle ....had the same thing several times but hardly noticed it i mean if the dentist was going to tell me ....i dont think i would really accept ...so i prefer he doesnt tell me and does what he has to do .....

the quicker ....the better

but i think my situation is worse than yours ....lol i got teeth's fracture and it's now in process to be crowned.... so i had so far 3 appointments in a row....and 2 more are planned til the job gets done totally

Social dentists FTL. Private dentists FTW. Although private dentists cost quite a bit, it's worth it. They do the job better and with almost no pain at all.

I have good teeth so my trips so the dentist are few and when I go I always get the same speech, " You have wonderful teeth blablabla"

mines worse :p I broke a tooth on a bloody sandwich. Well when i was 6 i smashed my adult front teeth in a cycling crash on a kerb & i had them effectively crowned but badly done. I had lots of bad fillings gone in other teeth too by the national health jerks who didn't bother doing things properly. I hated going so it made things worse.

Anyway after this tooth broke I went to have a crown done through stumps going into my root to strengthen it. After an hour of pins & drills he couldn't find my roots so now I have to have the front tooth removed next week then will have a bridge to repair it in 6 months. I also need 3 fillings from old ones coming out, it pisses me so much but my jawline is the opposite to Yans problem and they wont operate on me without putting braces back on which made a mess of my teeth before and now i pay to go private cos the nhs bastards wont even fix the mess they made. Anyway to fix this he's going to re-allign my teeth using the bridge as a guide so they shouldn't grind so much (hopefully!) I hate my smile though and I plan to have the whole top jaw dealt with asap.

which moves me onto

for sure. Since I had to go private the treatment has been immensely better, from comfortable seating and lcd tv's in the waiting room to comfy & new equipment.

Bidor. it's ALL about a routine. Breathing is especially important but also when I have injections (I've had loads) it's about not letting it hurt. About focussing properly
