Question about: FKN feat. Jahala - Why (Aly & Fila Mix)

So I got this track from Beatport, and can't help wondering if there's some dodgy sound-rip or something on it.
Basically, the vocal sounds horribly distorted at some point, and I'm not sure if it's meant to be distorted or not. Can someone clarify?
I've included a 30 second sample encoded at 128kbps, but it's enough to help my question ('distortion' is roughly at 6 seconds and 18 seconds)
