Well to answer your question, since I do not fly on commercial airlines frequently, I am not very familiar with the typical departure times. Commercial airlines run 24 hours a day, so I don't understand why they wouldn't leave at 3am. |

I read somewhere that most airport activity between 12am-5am is for non-commercial departures/arrivals. |

I had flights at 3, 4 and 5am, but they were international flights |
im curious as to where?
I know that flights to Europe are usually departing around 6-8pm to take advantage of the time zone change. |

| the actual rule is: no takeoffs between 2am-6am for a/c of a certain weight which i cant remember right now. light a/c have no restrictions but must follow special noise abatement procedures as prescribed in the standard departures (SID). i hate noise abatemnt procedures personally, becuase I LOVE AIRCRAFT NOISE!! :D once again, i read about it long time ago, so i cant be so sure as of now.. |

To answer whether I have any hook-ups with planes? I assume you ask because of my name....
