I got there around 12:30 and Luzz was just finishing up.....apparently he got jacked on his time slot and they moved him back which really sucks cause I really wanted to be there for his set. Down Deep came on and they were good.....they had the crowd going for a good bit.....their mixing was a little off here and there though and I can only take so much of that jazzy house. Mark Knight came on a little after 2 and got a nice little introduction from the pimped out midget that was standing on the bar lol. Mark cues up his first track and the vocals "WHERE'S YOUR HEEEEEAD AT.....WHERE'S YOU HEAD AT" came down on the crowd like a ton of bricks...ing insane intro...I knew right there that he was going to rip it. He was dropping bombs one after another....sick SICK sick bass lines that ripped that place apart. I don't know 90% of the tracks he played and the other 10% I've only heard on sets before. He ing killed that place. There were some pretty sick dance battles going on right in front of the booth.:eyes: The party did like a complete 180.....went from a bunch of unresponsive people socializing to everybody dancing their ing asses off yelling and screaming. IMO this was the best set I've witnessed in NY so far this year....UNBELIEVABLE! I ended up leaving a little after 5 because I was so shot from Friday night.....got on the E train back to Queens and passed the out and ended up at JFK lol.....always said I would never do that but oh well....guess you know it was a good night when that happens. :stongue:
Much thanks to People NYC for bringing in Mark....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring him back soon! Great seeing everybody as usual....Tyler/AJ/D....thanks for the drinks guys!:toothless

| Had a great time at the party last night. People and Eric, great job as usual, and thanks for the hookup, everyone had a blast. Mark Knight dropped a ton of insane IDs last night, the basslines:eyes: Didnt get to see Luzz open but I heard he threw it down... Was a little dissapointed that Tyas didnt get to play, as the openers were playing terrible jazzy and diva house for what seemed like forever... anyways great pics Brian! |

| yea knight threw it down proper..min he came on and hearing roadkill get mixed in i knew we would be in for a treat..he played alotta unknown toolroom tracks that im sure will make their way out in the upcoming months. big ups to people for letting me play. always appreciated. felt real bad that tyas didnt get to play..wanted to hear em close it out properly. |
