clubs listing (Southern California)

Hi All,
As I am fairly new to Southern California now, I can't seem to find a good listing of night clubs to check out in the Southern California region (except for the Avalon).
Does anyone have any recommendations on what the best night clubs in BOTH LA and SD are for House Music, Trance, drum and bass, etc...? I have been meaning to go out and look out for more places to check out over the weekend. If you guys have some sort of listing or just good places to check out, please provide the name of the club, the location, type of music, crowd, ambience...etc..
Let know know what your thoughts are! Really, the only couple I have checked out are Belo (SD) and Avalon (LA) |

| Vanguard in Hollywood has Drum n Bass on Wednesday (I think, maybe Thursday). Giant does Vanguard on Saturday and has mostly house. In San Diego Giant does stuff at Belo on Fridays. Avalon houses Spundae now so you'll get a pretty big blend of stuff on Saturdays there. |

| Vangaurd has a deep house night on sunday. Monday night social good party at Nacional all over the place. Depends on who's djing. King King on Friday one of the best spots. They have differnt nights depending on which friday you go. |

| Thursday Nights Giant is at Tentation in Newport, I really enjoy the vibe there :D |

Thanks guys!! Anyone know anymore? It seems like from the above posted listings, there are only a handful of clubs (like 5 mentioned). What else is out here..I mean, from what I heard: LA and SD are the places to be at on the west coast..what more is going on?
Vanguard - wednesdays, saturdays
Belo - Fridays
King King - Fridays
Arena - Fridays
Tentation - Thursdays
Isn't there more of an exhaustive list of clubs out there for our type of music. Don't tell me that there are only 5 night clubs in Southern California for beat music!!! |

| you should also check out On Broadway in San Diego. Eddie Halliwell performed last week, Christopher Lawrence last night, Bad Boy Bill 2nite!! |

| Couple dif day parties on sunday Josephs's and The Standard Roof Top. Also don't forget Nacional on Mondays. I think Tokio still has Wed. night house music. |
