I started this track as a trance tune but it evolved. Justed started it yesterday. Comments please on track and Genre?

I know the original by Genesis, not keen on that and I have to say that this track does nothing to change my mind.

The mix down is ok, but you need to work a lot on your percussion, at the moment it's very lifeless.

Also your choice of sounds is very bland (Sorry I hope I don't upset you).
If you go to KVR Audio there are so many plug ins and things available for free in case you don't have much in the way of sounds. :)

How do I use plugins? I went to the site but I do not understand. Do I need the specific plug in to use the sounds or can I download the backs and use them in my samplers in Reason. Sorry for the rookie question:rolleyes:

Ah, didn't realise or missed the fact that you are a reason user. Ok in that case it wont work, but kvr audio and plenty of other sites have many reason patches that should teach you a whole lot about the use of sound. Should also provide some good inspiration.
