| Is it just me, or is Jumpstyle not real popular in the US vs all the other genres of electronic music? Anyone else spin Jumpstyle in the US? Of course then again, I've never spun for a real audience, just online. |

It's that simple. The US caters to a lot of different music & everyone likes what they like OR DON'T.

First off that video Digital P showed is not anything related to Jumpstyle... Why did you not point that out NYTDDS? From the same site, if you just looked to the right in the other videos, you would have seen this link:

This is hardcore. It has been known as hardcore here in the states for quite some time. NYTDDS is referring to a style of dance to hardcore, not a style of music. If NYTDDS wasn't a noob himself, he may have been able to point all this out, but he's a noob. A BIG noob.
Hardcore parties still go on in NY and out in San Fran, they are all over, but the main HC DJ's you will find stay in these areas. Jumpstyle dancing is not a genre of music, and if people say that it is, what is the difference between this and hardcore? I already know that answer.... the dance that people do to the music :D
Fighting, name calling, bashing, etc. on a forum shows every other normal person on here that you are a dummy:nervous:
And actually, that dance is pretty cool. I like it. It would be nice to see a bunch of guys that know how to do it good perform at a party.:) |
