If anyone wants a free lesson in how to play this kind of techno, download this set.
Perfect flow, perfect programming, perfectly chilled out.
This was excellent Mathias, and especially interesting in comparison to "Amalgamate," as I think you were kind of just beginning to dabble in the more technical side of mixing with that one, whereas on this one it really appears as though you've come into your own stylistically, embraced what you're doing, and completely nailed it.
Reminded me very much of hearing Jon Patterson open for Sven Vath a couple weeks back - just an exceptional sense of what to play when, and how to layer all these somewhat minimal elements into a very lush and full sounding mix.
Great work brotha. A+ |

Well I guess I couldnt ask for a better review. Thanks for taking the time to check it out. Since you have heard some of my earlier work you would be a good person to compare them. I believe that when It comes to the technical side of spinning this genre of music I feel completely comfortable which shows I believe. Glad you dug it and hopefully one of these days we will get a chance to throw down together. |
