great mix mate! ;) there are some lovely tunes in there and a good blend of new and older tracks.
i really felt myself floating in and out when i was doing some work, it helped a lot!
dave swayze sounded awesome, along with chiller twist, they both don't sound out of place and have stood the test of time really well :D |

Easy Newnham! Nice little positive review as always, cheers bud. Agreed about those two tunes-they have a certain timeless quality to them, especially Chiller Twist, but then again I would say that:p |

Just finished up this set, sir, and it owned me. The last half, especially. I can't wait to have the time to give this a dedicated headphones-only listen! Crappy work speakers don't do it justice. The weather couldn't be better here for these types of progressive mixes.

Thanks Zoso:D Headphones are the definitive way to listen to these type of mixes, hopefully it will sound even better! +Dont make me jealous about the weather, its overcast in poor old Blighty...
As for Nile-Ra it may be a year old or something, but had to include it as the soft melody stays in my head all the time. Perfect example of chilled trance without any cheesey conventions. Lovely! |

A track's age doesn't turn me off at all. I know there are many who prefer to hear only new material, but if a track is appropriate at a given point in a mix, then it's appropriate regardless of its age (this is MY opinion, of course).
It's sunny and about 85 Fahrenheit here in the woods of Tennessee. Perfect progressive weather, if you ask me. Now if only I could get a day off to myself so that I could enjoy all these mixes! |
