Got a weekend Ticket for Ruby's 7th Anniversary over the weekend. Not so excited about Friday night's line up but I wanted to hear some good prog house so what the hell. Sumfrog did a real good job and got everyone going early. Then 1am Donald Glaude walked in with his huge posse. I think there was atleast 10 people walked up with him on the stage, most wearing a black EDEN t-shirt just like him.
Scumfrog slowed down his last 3 tracks to get ready for Donald's transition. Donald gets up and tries to play his first track ........ STATIC NOISE.:nervous: Some how his sound card wasn't properly hooked up. People started whistling, booing and make noises. Finally after a long minute, he finally gets his track to play.
It never got better. His tracks were all over the place. Multiple times he would kill the track being played and for no reason YELL on top of his lungs. Everyone was like "what the f*ck" :mad:
All night he was acting like he was wasted or something. At one point I was in the restroom to take a piss and two of his posse's wearing the black Eden shirt walked in and tried to cut the line. Everyone was like "what the ?" almost started a brawl in the restroom. One of the guys ended up taking care of his business on the trashcan.
Could'nt stand it anymore and had to leave at 2:30am. Definately my worst night at Ruby. I'm just glad that Dubfire made it up Saturday night. |

| i remember one of his gigs @ ice in vegas back in 2000 or so. a lot of energy but he did keep stopping the track as well. i still enjoyed it though. maybe it was something in my system. :toothless |
