Lira son, short history lesson for you... That flag is a complete rip off of the sun of Vergina, and is the flag of macedonia, greece.
The flag you are referring to is that of FYROM or better known as Bulgaria! |

And "FYROM" is to Macedonia the same way "dentifrice" is to toothpaste. Who in their right mind would call a country "Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia" just because the Greeks don't like their name?

Good lord there's some geographically challenged people in this thread.
Macedonia is a sovereign state. Bulgaria is a sovereign state. None of them have any governmental connection to greece anymore (not for the last like 500 years anyway).
Someone asked if autonomous regions within states have their own flags. They do; case in point the 50 flags of the states of the USA, or if that doesn't work for you, the flag of Kosovo, an autonomous state within Serbia that's probably going to be the world's newest country within the next 12 months:
or the Basque flag that a couple spanish terrorists would love to call their state flag: (Note that this isn't the official flag of the Basque separatist movement as there IS no official flag; they're just a bunch of disorganized commie revolutionaries...)
or the Palestinian flag which isn't recognized by anyone important, or the Taiwanese flag which isn't recognized either ever since they got punked by China.
Personally, my favorite is the UN flag

Nah, I think he's just Greek... they hate Macedonia because of its name, apparently, and they think it's also a Bulgarian muppet state of some sort :p
