does anyone have any experience on separate vu meters? my mixer doesn't have vu meters for each channel, only the master output and it annoys me quite a bit sometimes. and the only mixer i'd want to change to is the xone:92 rotary which is way out of my price range. so what i've thought about doing is buying a separate vu meter and hook that up on my mixer's effect send.
only problem i have is that i can't really find any separate vu meters other than the omnitronic db-100.
there's two things i don't like about the omnitronic.
1. it's omnitronic
2. it's ing huge (rackmount 19" and i don't have a rack or anything else where i could sink it in)
so are there any other options? i've tried googling this for many hours but no matter what i type in it always finds something i'm not looking for. and if anyone has any experience on the omnitronic i'd like to hear about that as well. :) |
