yes, my friend would not come around and say that. That's the reason that they are my friends. But they will be there after love has failed, if it does. That is the whole point.

well it was never 'normal' friendship vs. 'eternal' love..
i have friends that i have known for more than 17 years (i am 20) and they have backstabbed me and i have backstabbed them i am sure, but in the end, I would stick up for every single one of them and I know that they would do the same for me. |

| This is a decision i have made before (sort of)... I dumped my first girlfriend, of 2 1/2 years cause she didnt like me hanging out with my friends. Every time I did, she fought with me on it... One day i just snapped, and broke it off. I havent been saner since. |

Love for sure. I have some great friends but I could easily live without them. Like honestly, what do you possibly do with your friends that make them so important to you. I don't do anything with my friends that I couldn't do with my girlfriend. I have no problem with anyone choosing friendship over love but I just don't understand why you would.
Also, it's kind of ridiculous by saying you can't include friendship with love because what's love without friendship? It's like saying what's trance music without sound, all you'd be able to do is feel the beats which would suck because trance is so much more than just a beat. Without friendship love is just lust. It's just a physical feeling rather than an emotional one as well.
One other thing I don't understand is why your girlfriend can't go out with you and your friends? My girlfriend always come out with me and my friends and we don't act any different when she's around. I can understand if she doesn't like your friends and then gets mad when you want to hang out with them but in my case everyone's cool with each other.
Well that's my opinion, sorry if I sound like a Saturday morning special. =) |
