Live Earth Australia - Concert to Combat Global Warming
Saturday 7 July 2007, Aussie Stadium, Sydney

With 24 hours of music across seven continents, Live Earth will bring together more than two billion people around the world to combat the climate crisis. Live Earth will mark the beginning of a campaign led by The Alliance for Climate Protection to move individuals, corporations and governments to take action against global warming.

Appearing live on stage at the Sydney Live Earth will be:
Crowded House
Jack Johnson
Wolfmother
John Butler Trio
Missy Higgins
Eskimo Joe
Sneaky Sound System
Paul Kelly
Ghostwriters
Toni Collette & The Finish
Blue King Brown

Live Earth will launch in Sydney and continue across seven continents, concluding with the final concert in the USA.

How prophetic of me, a couple of years ago before they got big I met a chick wearing a Wolfmother t-shirt when I was incredibly drunk, after asking "who the is Wolfmother" I made mention "they sound like they're ". How correct I was.

It's not even that these bands don't realise that they're 30 years too late that annoys me, it's that the only reason we've even heard of them is because whenever they release a new album you can't have the TV on for 2 ing minutes without seeing an add for it. Shoving a band down peoples throats won't make them suddenly think it's cool.
