Posted this in the PDD, but I figure I'll post it here too since it's the best video I've taken of a close encounter with dolphin.
I shot it about 2 weeks ago in the Red Sea near the coast of Hurghada. It's taken at a depth of 30-40ft (10-15 meters) with no magnification ... they were literally within arm's distance. I would say there were 8-10 dolphin in the pod total. Enjoy!

wish i had a camera with me last year, did a swim with sharks thing last year in hawai'i and one of these things came within probably about 2 feet of me:
granted, we were in a cage thing, but that thing could've fit in easily

Nice. I've always wanted to goto egypt on holiday, the red sea has some stunning resorts but I'm such a fussy eater I'd probably starve before I found something I could eat :o

Egypt has many things to offer. Good food is not one of them imo.
