Ok Sorry if I sound noobish but this whole hardware analog and quarter inch input output stuff is new to me, I've only dealt with vst's. I got a roland mc 505 I want to hook up to my sound card. The way it's connected is output of the back of the roland, and input into the sound cards h/w 1/2.
The activity meter is lighting up, but im getting no sound through my monitors. I am using a audiophile 192, could anyone help?

check the routing, the inputs are probably going nowhere ;)

Switch to the 4th setting in your first pic under HW/OUT

Is that the normal volume thats playing? That looks really low. Also you should update your drivers. They came out with a new one that has a different look for the mixer window now somewhat. What do the settings look like on your last page?

Ok, mine doesnt have the input channel phase + 180% checked, also you should probally use sample rate 44,100 and higher. I use the 256 latency but that really depends on your own settings. 512 is fine. And you sure you have your wires from the roland output into the soundcards In R In L ?

I just checked my second page to and it does say like yours did at first with the first one checked, wavout s/pdif. If none of that works. Thats pretty weird.

Edit

Ok it doesnt matter b/c I still get sound playing if I uncheck the 180% tabs. Im not sure why it wouldnt be working

yea I have two 1/2 plugged into the rolands output
and two 1/2 plugged into the sound cards IN R and IN L.
hmmmm
I checked if the roland was giving any signal at all, so I plugged it in directly into my monitors, there is sound coming out, but for some reason my sound card picks up activity on the meter, but no sound...

Looking at the second pick you posted at the top. You have the volume slider way down. You did try turning that all the way up right?
