| Almost by accident I did Bay to Breakers. Last night I decided to leave my car at the Embarcadero Center after dinner and walk to 1015, so I went back up there after j00f to get it when I saw a bunch of people in crazy costumes heading toward the start, I thought I'd go check out the scene there but I ended up following everyone straight into the race and figured it was a beautiful day for a nice walk across the city. It was a great time, such a quintessentially SF thing, just a bunch of cool people getting together to have a good time in the gorgeous city. Next year I'll be more prepared with some booze and pot. :tongue3 My favorite part was the pink "float" with the disco ball banging out house. (Think 8 hours was enough at 1015? Never!) |
