Hershey sues man who made pot candy

The Hershey Co. has sued Affolter, 40, for giving his marijuana goodies names like Stoney Rancher, Rasta Reese's and Keef Kat. Each came in packaging similar to Hershey's Jolly Rancher, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kat candies, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Hershey's suit, filed earlier this month in U.S. District Court in San Jose, accuses Affolter of trademark infringement, trademark dilution and unfair competition. The company is seeking $100,000 in damages.
Papers were served on Affolter on Tuesday while he was in a county jail awaiting transfer to state prison.
Affolter's lawyer, David M. Michael, said he was negotiating with Hershey. |

I ate some pot candy once, but then I ran over some kid in the drive through, shot my best friend accidentally, and made a series of poor decisions which I later forgot about. So, basically, what I'd like to say is that

| in lame. They're just being s. Theres so many instances similar to that. The quote said it was in packaging similar to theirs yet there's t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc out there that have logos similar to copyrighted images and they don't get sued, yet their making millions, and many have derogatory words/phrases on them. |
