mysterious mixer comes back from the past

So recently I find out that my uncle has a mixer lying around somewhere that belonged to my dad (who died about 15 years ago) from when he was collecting and spinning old disco vinyls. I got the mixer today and it looks like something cavemen might have used to lay down the funk millions of years ago.

It's called the TELEC 1062, and google searches reveal no useful results (and I can't find anything about this mysterious brand either) It's a big black metal box (really heavy too) with just two channels labeled PHONO 1 and PHONO 2 and a big ominous red power button that looks like something out of the 1950s. How awesome is that? :wtf:

That's why I was trying to google it. I don't have a digital camera. :(

Maybe if I can find my old webcam I could take a crappy pixelated shot of it.

ok, crappy pixelated pic as promised

I wonder if that even qualifies a mixer, and not just a splitter. :conf:

I'm afraid to hook it up because I'm scared that it might explode :wtf:

There's something beautiful about that.

I wouldn't worry about that, back then they built things to last. You could probably run over it with a car and it wouldn't even have a scratch on it.
