Whats up guys,
First time posting here. Little about moiself... originally from europe now live in the uneventful Tampa. Have been a fan/listener of trance/electronic music since I can remember. Always wanted to get into dj'ing of some sorts mainly because i wanted to create a mixes i wanted to hear minus all the bs. I put a little something together recently...I know this is generic but take a listen let me know what you think...I dont know if this will be considered mainstream or something like it.. I dont think it is, maybe two songs I would consider that. but just wanted to see what people would say about my first mix.
This was my firsts attempt... I hope its great success...

| you definitely need to improve on your mixing dude. I didnt' recognize alot of the tracks but why would you go and drop The things you say when more than half the set if mostly trance:conf: What did you use to mix?? |

This set is killer bro and by killer I mean you butchered the entire mix. You used the pitch control on most of the transitions and it didn't sound right. Practice mixing by ear and learn your tracks' ups and downs before using them in a set. Also there's no flow and build either. One example of your lack of flow is the last transition. You go from an uptempo track around the 130 to 140 bpm range to a slow chillout trance track which killed the mood even more. Finally your beatmatching was horrid. Focus on staying in sync with each other by using the cue on your mixer.
Final Verdict: Practice, practice, practice! |

| Cool, thanks for the response. I did that tiral mix a few hours of getting the program, and never have attempted it before, maybe that will shed a little light. Practice is correct, just needed a few pointers. Thanks guys. |
