Best Places to Party?

Hi everyone,
I'm thinking to taking a trip to NYC. Just wanted to know where the best places to party are? And if there are any special events coming up in May/June?

Centro-fly, depends on the DJ
Exit - never (except maybe 6/14/02)
SF - never (acquired taste which is not easily acquired by out-of-towners)

mondays - baktun www.baktun.com
tuesday -..hmm..never really party on tuesdays but sometimes lounge around
wednesday -...leopard lounge, opioum den, and plenty more in the east village....within walking distance of each other
thursdays - filter 14
vynil - fridays... DT a must for a real NY experience..for some good old facioned house
saturdays are an oppen issue for me...but gotta be some non-club related events...lots of jazz,plays,shows,bars/lounges, sporing events...
sunday factory afterhours...never go earlier than 7am....to 3 pm ...then rest your ass for monday to do it all over again |

well shawn ink is starting his residency...and if you ever heared him at float...he's like JP Jr. deep repetative house....if you're not on K you're bored...should not even be mentione on tranceaddict site.....SF is house headz exclusively....
or if you're there to pic up T&A pretty people go there... the juicers and the plastic barbies... |

LOL. I've never partied in NY, but I was curious. I'm always open minded and although I do greatly prefer trance over house, that doesn't mean that you can't have a good time in that environment. I go to dance, so the juice-heads don't really come into play unless they're taking up my space... which isn't too often, because they know better than to ruin my groove. Hehe.
Seriously though, I understand what you're saying. However, it's not your surroundings but what you make of them.
So what's the best club to see a big name DJ... besides Tenaglia @ Vinyl? |

well junior (junior vasques] got his residency at Exit sunday afterhours...he's famous.... never been supposedly really nice funk/groove/house/lots of vocal house/modanna at least once in a nigh
watch your ass tho' -lots of butt-burglars about :)
JP is the other residency... my advice..want to get a feel for real NY underground...well its not underground its actually very very commercial....but thats what lotsa peeps call it i dunno why...
go see JP...just try to get K somewhere..if you buy inside you'll probably will get riped of...
enjoy the house... at his best JP will make you insane...will go in a 1000 diff directions...wit hard hardHARD! ass beats.... never heared subwoofers like i've heared in cractory..... awsome lows... if you're a base junky factory is heaven.......
i hate house...but tis the best party in NY so i go there.... after 7 its all regulars......not friendly like twilo...but more-so respectful...keep to themselfs... older crowd..no ravers...
some awsome dancers..not even break..just its own factory style...and a few A-M-A-Z-I-N-G stringers....
just go and you'll see it.......
for many people JP is god.. he spins 15 hr sets EVERY-MOING weekend....
for his b-day this year he spun 25 hrs straight!
