Believe it or not, when I do my own nights, I barely get to do a proper set or none at all. Too busy working it, or just doing the opening slot (sometimes) so I can 1) save money 2) hear some of my tracks and 3) get some mild enjoyment from the event as a DJ.
I actually rely on other gigs so I can actually play a serious set, if that makes sense. :)
But that's why I asked because I don't want to try to infringe on other worthy and deserving people too.
You sucka. :)
