| unless people are actual ducks fans i really dont like the fact that they will not cheer for ottawa. come on people do u know how long it has ben since a canadian team has won the cup? dont u love your country? lets go sens |

Canadian nationalism? LMFAO!
In the minds of most Torontonians, bitter rivalry > nationalism.
I think most of us still consider Ottawa to be a bit of upstart Ontario team... Maybe the Sens winning the Cup will finally prove that Sens > Leafs last 5 yrs or so. |

i cant believe this.
so what if the team is based in canada. is it canadas team? no. there was a canadian team that won gold a few weeks ago, but not a lot of people cared or even knew about that.
when have the ottawa senators become the senators of canada or the canadian senators.
this is pro sports. being a Torontonian I cheer for Toronto teams, but the fact that the Senators come from the same country as me has no bearing on my feelings for them. if you like a team, like them for their style of play or for something a bit more significant than just them being from canada. |

CARL is doesn't matter if they are ANOTHER canadian team......when MONTREAL won in 1993 do you think Toronto fans were cheering for them just because it was another canadian team in the finals....NO WAYYYYYYY!!!! SENS sucks......Giguere is the BETTER goalie....way more experience, he'll win the series for them in 5 games!!! Anaheim wins the 1st two, split in Ottawa, and take the cup at home!!! Selanne deserves a cup too!!! |

just for the record, i admire how the sens got into the finals for a change. being stacked with so much talent every year and being knocked out mustve been brutal.
i give lots of credit to the guys on the team to going on a run like they had in these playoffs. not every team can do that.

nah man. i wouldnt say the sens suck. if they did, they wouldnt be in the finals. although imo, the ducks have an advantage over them. what i noticed from last nights game vs. the wings, was the giguere was way out of position on a lot of saves meaning that their was no way he could has a 2nd save if there was a rebound. if that continues, he will pay with letting goals in. |
