This is probably directed at my mates, who were stupid enough to get a hotel room at Star City and then head to cheers to see the mighty pool crumble. It was the only bloody game throughout the tournament that I can say they deserved to win and yes they lost to a Milan side that looked way below their best.
to the remainder of the pool supporters - No more bloody references to Istanbul. It was a fluke and proved that it can't be repeated.
Stevie G had a shocker. So much for Gattuso being the cat!
well done Milan. You're a bunch of bloody cheats and didn't deserve to be in the competition in the first place, however congrats for beating Liverpool! |

hehehehehehe same boat pkc, same boat! finishing 3rd or 4th makes no difference, as both teams have to qualify to enter the group stage of the Champions League next season (as you are aware ofcourse).
Nothing to do with Milan's style! Pool had numerous chances and failed to find the net until it was too late. |

yeah, i agree. we need a world-class striker, cant rely on riise or gerrard's long bombs each and every game. i think we did almost everything right, just lacked that extra presence at the pointy end of the field.

first half we got destroyed i must admit - i would have smashed oddo for giving gerrard so much space and jankulovski the same for pennant but 2nd half both teams performances were under par.. Milan were on the upper hand and created more chances..
let me just say that Benitez is a homo.. everyone knew that by taking mascherano off kaka was going to be freeeeee !! and thats what happened, he got the space and setup inzaghi.
now as for inzaghi, yes he cant control the ball or take players on or not much at all EXCEPT to be at the right place at the right time and get them in ... and he did.. twice! so bag him all u want he did his job and and u can stick it up ur ass... complain all u want that milan shouldnt have been in the competetion, get over it -
we were in it, and we won it for what it matters on the pitch!

I could see the match swinging in Milan's favour when we had all those chances gone begging, so when Milan hit the sucker punch on the stroke of half time, all they needed to do was control the tempo so congrats to Milan on their 7th European Cup, and the great footballer and person Maldini, this time he ends his long distinguised career on a bang.
and we never walked alone. The Liverpool fans in that stadium stayed behind to applaud both Milan and Liverpool. A rarity these days when big clubs meet in finals. |

f#ck i hate inzaghi. if he got hit in the balls and the ball went into the back of the net he would claim he meant it. that first goal was rubbish, he got hit in the head and the ball somehow went in. the second goal was brilliant, but it was the pass that was brilliant not the goal. inzaghi just did what he has done his whole career and played off the shoulder.
i swear if milan did not have kaka they would be the most boring team to watch. even with him they somehow manage to bore the pants off me.
and what the f*ck was with the ref, there was no consistency in that match whatsoever. the freekick that resulted in milans first goal was dubious at best but in the second half when liverpool were in the same position and the exact same thing happened there was no free kick.
on that free kick, this is the one thing i hate with football. a team can do nothing for an entire half, play utter crap and not even look like getting into the penalty area let alone score. then suddenly there is slight contact outside of the penalty area and the player goes down and a free kick is awarded and a goal is scored. its f*cking crap and if you are proud of your team when they win matches that way you are a joker, plain and simple.
kewell is not going to be at liverpool anymore, he played like crap. zenden was creating far more chances and was more damaging than kewell's kick the ball past an opponent and dive to the ground routine.
it will be interesting to see who benitez goes out and buys.
and timewasting is a crock as well, the ref should add on an appropriate amount of time for time wasting instead of the standard 3 minutes. they should also stop the clock when a substitution is being made in stoppage time because it takes over a minute to get done.
one other thing italian football can suck my balls. i wonder how much ac milan paid to win this years champions league? |
