man that sounded awful..
sounds amateurish too, probably made in 10 minutes. this is even worse than his fragma remix. it's a shame that an artist who is capable of doing something good ruins his career with these quickies.
blake and topher's remix ftw! :)
though original is still the best as it's so beautiful. would love to hear a downtempo/chillout/triphop sort of remix of it.. |

Are we not allowed to voice our opinions? This is what a discussion about a track is for. Everybody has differing opinions and tastes, why should we let only one side of those be present?
What good would it do to have this forum only allow positive replies from people who enjoy a track? Constructive criticism (regardless of how polite someone is when using it) is a good thing, and many artists listen to the negative reviews that people have. It doesn't benefit an artists growth to only hear, "Dude, that track rocked!" The bad reviews help artists grow, assuming those artists truly are artists who are looking to grow and change, instead of cashing in for a quick buck.*cough*tyasanddurand*cough* |

If he doesn't give a then what harm are we doing? Also, why then should people voice a positive opinion if he wouldn't give a ? |

I happen to like some of the snow patrol remixes. I haven't heard the Durand mix of chasing cars, but liked the jones/jarrell remix.
I like a couple remixes of "open your eyes", particularly the allende remix and I really like the full version of the remix found here:
www.myspace.com/djchristyler
If you like the sample found on his myspace page you can ask and he'll probably be more than happy to send you his full version
I think he did a really good job with it.

durrands tunes are not really that greatly produced (bar maybe the lethal industry remix)!
The art of music imo is being able to produce a tune from scrap! doing everything from the top of your head!
Dont get me wrong, mixing a tune down and mastering a tune is an art in its own, but all based on theories and tricks gained from experience!
Doing remixes all the time is not really showing his talent! i wish he would produce a killer tune from scratch and shut us all up! |

they are just giving their opinions. personally, if i am thinking of the right track, i didn't find much special about it but i will look for a sample to make sure it was the one i heard before. |
