The new r32 has a bigger engine and more hp without the turbo lag. I guess that's good? I dunno I love my GTI.

civics lighter.. with all due respect to german engineering, a good power to weight ratio would be better on the road and on the wallet!

My MK4 Jetta 1.8t's turbo kicks with peak boost of 10psi at 2krpm stock. With the chip, I'm getting nearly twice the boost with a steady 18psi at 3krpm.

On a stock turbo with chip, I'm getting 245hp and 239 lb-ft tq - no reason to complain. With the diode mod, I'm looking to get over 23psi, which will eventually wreck the stock turbo, but w/e.

I thought this was going to be that old VW commercial where they are driving around w/ the sunroof open and they’re looking up at the stars and sky. I liked that one.

This looks cool though, but I don’t have sound at work.

that's an awesome commercial.

i loooooooove night drives, but havent done one in a while because i cant afford to be driving around for no reason. :(

i also love my Jetta turbo, but i have a feeling i'm not going to love it when i have to start spending money on repairs.

That's because it's a Passat. That's by far the 'momest' VWs ever made.

Purchase an extended warranty, if it isn't too late.

I got my car back from service today.

$3700 to replace the radiator, some wheel bearings, a sunvisor, driver information screen (cheap, small lcd), and a few other piddly things.

The guy had the gall to tell me that it was a "bargain", when the previous service, just SIX MONTHS AGO, was for a similar amount.

The car is only eight years old for fsck sake!

I have a love/hate relationship with cars; they are such money sinks.

You got ripped off

i'm not one to brag but in the 11 years i've owned my civic. no major repairs. only wear out items, brakes, exhaust etc. the japs do make an exceptional car that lasts.

1. AWD
2. 240hp vs. 180hp
3. Rare model. (supposedly will hold its value better)
4. Their penis must be too small, to settle for a GTi.

That's all I can think of, yet not enough for me to get one.
