Sorry to hear that but everyone will get offended from time to time and there was no malise in the term in the context it was brought up so TFB. |

They're OK for some women, although I'm a sucker for the sun dresses myself.
A guy should never wear a tank unless he works out enough for his pits not to be in plain view - and even then, I think there are better fashion choices. I agree with Mark, a lot of the time it just looks trashy, especially when accompanied by flip-flops or something equally cheap.
Just my two cents though. |

My point is that there are words or phrases that we often use without thinking, but are entirely inappropriate. For example, words or phrases such as jap, nig*er, indian giver, dutch oven, retard, peg leg, nappy-headed hos (see Don Imus), etc. are entirely offensive and shouldn't be used, regardless of context or intent. In my books, "wifebeater" belongs in this category.
Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread. That's all I have to say on the subject. Cheers.
