| I realize that looping is essential to mixing. However, I've nver been able to make accurate loops. When mixing in a loop, beats go out of sync fast. How do I make accurate loops? |

This is going to sound stupid, but could you tell me how exactly it is that looping is essential? |

| looping is far from essential. and even on pioneer cdjs looping is not accurate, its nearly impossible to get a perfect loop going and to mix with that you have to ride the pitch |

Looping is not essential, but if you really want to get into this then Cycloops or Ableton will get you on yor merry way.

Wrong. not essential.
To make accurate loops live, practise more. Still there's no guarantee. Screw it up live, and it will sound like . |

doesnt matter if its on cheap decks or expensive decks... i have problems looping with the autoloop on my 800mk2 or my 1000mk3...
and i like to layer tracks but its just too ing hard to loop on these decks :o |

| i got big pants |
ive noticed it seems like its a 50-50...sometimes you'll nail a loop on the head...and other times, you can't do it for the life of yourself.
i don't really use the loop function on my 800mk2...more so torq...and even though i control loops with the trigger finger...its a hit or miss |

| i can make a loop sound fine... but if im mixing it never stays on beat.... so its not perfect :( so i have to re-adjust it |

| well that sucks. I was hoping that I was doing something wrong. Loops are pretty useful imo. |

| If you have a laptop, you can get Torq and use it with your CDJ's. Torq's looping is pretty spot on. A little pitch riding necessary, but not much at all! |

You can adjust the length of your loop on de dns1000 by pushing the trim button (little button on the left of the track search button) and then adjust the length of the loop with the jog wheel. Last, but not least confirm by clicking the A1 (or A2) button. It helps me in making pretty accurate loops.
Also read manual if you want a clearer explanation. It should all be in there. |

Awesome. Thanks a lot, I'll try this out. I don't have a manual though - bought my decks used. |
