but yea, thiago had him against the cage, then pulled him away and down, but irvings leg didn't go with him...and you just saw the pop, gross.

lol i honestly dont think he was knocked out and couldve gotten up and fought a lil more, but still woulda gotten his ass kicked. i think someone mentioned that chuck was hitting the donuts lmao AND drinking alotta beers too! LOOK AT HIS GUT!!!! that is not a world champion fighter IMO and he deservedly lost tonight, just goes to show that UFC fighters SUCK!!! with the exception of the additions of henderson, crocop and rampage. (and yes yes i know crocop got ktfo but he was also beat by randleman of all people and look how he came back n beat that piece of no problem)

| chuck always has a gut, he is famous for it. But he actually looked more in shape for this fight than his last few. he is still not in athletic shape though. |

| As of late I've freaking hated how the UFC stops fights like that. You know Liddell and tons of others could have gone on for another round or more. |

ok, fine, but the question is, would he have gotten up? ie. Rampage was wailing on him, even if he wasn't knocked out right there, Rampage would have kept going.
these guys are all power punchers for the most part. having someone in dominant position pounding on your face is dangerous with anyone, much more so when you can punch like Rampage and there are only 4 ounces separating the knuckles from the head. while i think Chuck could have gone on if they had been separated, he'd have gotten KTFO'd within the next few seconds probably. |

If you look at it like he was totally just being dominated and couldn't recover from that slew of hits thats fine. However that was a quick knock down and he just seemed like he was stunned for a few seconds and wasn't able to react quick enough. I would be willing to wager he wouldn't have ended up as bad as Shamrock did from Ortiz and those fights. Man he looked like ing hamburger.. |
