MIDI mapping trouble in Ableton

So I've been attempting to map my m-audio 02 midi keyboard with ableton for the past couple of hours and I'm having a hard time mapping the EQ's.
I mapped the x-fader quite simply, but when I go to assign the knobs to each individual frequency, despite the fact that Im using a different knob for each one (high, mids & lows) it recognizes each individual knob as the same knob.
For example, I'll assign knob 1 of my controller to highs, then knob 2 to mids, and knob 3 to lows. On the EQ, each of the assignments are showing up as 1/6, therefore when I (ctrl + m) and go to use the EQ, one knob controlls the entire EQ rack at the same time
are my midi settings screwed up or am i doning something wrong here?

Wow.
I see at the bottom of your screen-shot it says: 1/6 mode, it should be set to 1/101 mode or something of the like. Configure that in preferences and set up your midi controller properly.
Also if I see one more thread with Ableton in the title and it's a ing stupid question I'm going to jump out my window, I'm only one floor up though so I'll probably just get a bruise, but still. |

| all of your knobs are set to transmit CC 6 over channel 1, so go into the firmware and edit the preset commands on your controller. i think m-audio products come with enigma for that? you can also do it directly on the machine itself as well. |

i am not sure if o2 comes with a midi learn preset but i had te same thing happen to me last night when i tried to configure my trigger finger with live. fixed it by loading bank 16 which is for midi learn and ableton worked fine.
so check if your controller has midi learn preset. |
