Because Nikon has failed as a Pro-Sumer DSLR provider. With Nikon, you either buy , or $5000. |

| I went for Nikon, but if youre going high end, you cant go wrong with either one. Canon's point and shoots are ridiculous....mine took a beating for years and kept on ticking |
