Ridiculous! Markus Schulz @ Avalon Boston (Review)

Ridiculous was the word of the evening. Markus Schulz threw down probably one of the best two hour sets I've heard in a long time. When we got to Avalon there were literally 15 people in the entire club so for a moment I wad pretty nervous about how good Avalon would actually be. By the time Markus came on at midnight the dance floor filled up quite a bit but there was more than enough dancing space. Maybe I'm bias because Avalon was my old stomping ground but I can't really say I've had a bad time there recently :D

Is this the year of markus Shulz??

What a FANTASTIC time we had. The people of Boston treated us like gold, and Markus was KILLING it!!! Seeing him at Stereo and Avalon has just changed my mind completely about him.

Highlight of the night: King of the Castle: SVD!! :) bonkers!

Avalon was 10x's better than the last time I was there. The bouncers were ridculous friendly and accomodating, I didnt have to buy a single drink the entire evening because the people were so friendly and the bartender loved us (no idea why??) lol.....we made a few friends that evening to say the least :) :) Not very many ta's tho.......the club in general was a lot better (no ear ringing for 2 weeks straight!!)

Loved every second of it!! :) :) markus is kicking our asses lately and I WANT this man in nyc!! btw: loved that he remebered me and wai from stereo...that was such a nice feeling! :o :o :o :D :D :D

*also: Rise was a lotta fun! no complaints at all :) good people, good times....def came back when the sun was up!! :eyes: :tongue2 :toocool:

you should! no idea if boston should be your city to venture off to randomly because of the hours but it's a great city overall. although we went to rise, boston's afterhours place both friday and saturday nights which was very nice.

I am glad you had a good time. I can only receive texts on my phone unfortunately. I have been on the cape and doing birthday stuff with my gf most of this weekend. If you come up to Boston again let me know :)

Yeah, I was looking forward to this event so much, as Markus is one of my favorite DJs. Have been listening to GDJB since it started.

Other than the show being amazing I also got to meet Markus and take a few pictures with him! That totally made my night. You can see a bunch of pictures from the show here (including 3 of Markus and I):

I just started this group to unite all the trance addicts in the Boston area. Going.com is a new social networking site, but unlike Myspace or Facebook people seem to be a lot more up for meeting in real life and sharing their passions instead if just sitting at home and updating their pages all day.

Also, here are a couple of videos I took that night:
