| i'm almost there. i've only got about 60 more chaperones' functions to determine, then i can move on to all the transferases and isomerases et al., at that point i'll understand about 1% of it :p |

sylvia do you ever find it frustrating that trying to talk about things that are so fascinating comes off as being completely boring and nerdy?
i mean, this is the that makes you function. you fail to produce one particular protein properly and that's it. this stuff is important! |

all the time. see i get excited when talking about these things. sometimes, i'll start explaining something, and people just drift off. that's when i realize i need to stop. it's extremely frustrating. honey, i straight up got laughed at in one of my philosophy classes once. long story, i'll tell you over a drink.
but i guess we should just be respectful to others' interests. i mean, i hate hearing about business and accounting... let's not go into it. i'll start offending people. we'll spill our gripes over drinks.
also, maybe you can advise me on my potential research topic in beta sheets and protein folding. my prof. suggested i look into alzheimer's, but i was wondering if you know of any other interesting areas having to do with that. btw, dude, i did so bad in biochem. i was telling rubes about this. we need to drink to that. i suck at life. |

moral of this story is, we need to vent our frustrations over drinks. effen blach cherry drinks preferably.
also, you don't suck at life. my first biophysical chem exam I got a 30. i also had to retake human genetics because i failed my first exam. happens. :) |

| Aww Syl... I got a 29 on a cell bio exam once... no joke. And that was something like, a C. And you definitely do NOT suck at life!!!!! |

i got a 41 on a 2nd semester physics exam and got an AB .. that's how ridiculous it was. |
