Overall I thought this was one sick ass show. You know, there's just something about progressive music that makes me not want to let go of it, and I think it's that deep European feel I get when I listen to it. That's what I was telling Anoek, Danny's ex. She says "back in England people know that for after hours, it's gotta be Danny. It's gotta be Danny. They like the way he creates that different mood in a club all of a sudden, like a train hit the place."
I went off and told her (and later Danny) how his music, along with Sasha, Digweed and Fontaine's stuff is what got started on progressive music back in the day, and later into trance. She had a big smile knowing that Danny masters yet another genre in the music world.
Randall Jones threw an amazing set Sunday night. I met up with Cory, Erica, and Screen (dude I totally forgot your real name lol)...a legend in the TXTA world, and we had a blast. Cory, thanks a million for letting me crawl up there on stage with you guys. I had a blast up there, especially meeting Anoek and Danny. That is the first time I ever get to talk to anyone whose been or is currently with Global Underground, which means alot since it is the basis for my taste in electronica music. Howells threw in Pryda - Armed..and Lizandro was the first one to recognize it without me even knowing what was coming up, which is definitely a good way to start if you want to become a dj since you are beginning to know your music well. The rest of the night was killer and Danny put on a set that put me in a tranquil mood. It wasn't really that kind of night I wanted to get drunk or anything. It was rather the kind of night, and music you'd want to listen to until the sun came up....sit back, relax, and enjoy the music, which is definitely what i experienced. I had quite an amazing time, one which I had not expected.

Was it really Howells that played Armed ? I got the impression that it wasn't Howells that played it.
Speaking of tracks, it made my wife's night when Howells played "Phunk" - Innersphere and it did seem he really kicked it in after that track.
So what was that dub/mix of Bon Jovi ? |

now that I recall Randall brought in armed, Yes and it was a different version with vocals, sounded like a cheap mashup, vocals arent in sych with the beat. |

Ok, thanks. So Howells must of still been moving around/setting up when he played Armed. I did think it was a strange transition into Armed. |
