Have you even been here? If you had it's not about us having a higher sense of self important, it's just that we are more important than anyone else :p It's the Montreal complex. Everyone here has something going on so we all think we're better than everyone else, but really everyone else in the city has something going on. It's a vicious circle... hehe

My brother loved his trip there, but he's also fluent in french and I Only know a few words. I'm a non-city person though, so I don't get the whole complex thing, be it montreal, toronto, london, berlin, karachi, rio, buenos aires, Vancouver or New York (or many more :p)

The complex is that there are so many creative individuals coming out of montreal, all of us working towards shows, gigs, etc and all of us doing stuff, so caugt up in our little scene bubbles we don't see that EVERYONE has something great going on for themselves! Someone could say to me, "well I'm doing this and this and this," and I would be like, " well im doing this and this and this!" It's crazy. It's a great atmosphere to grow creatively in. So much excitement! Even me this summer, good number of quality gigs, good parties to promote for, good collaborations happenening... it's awesome.

Montreal is the best thing that ever happened to North America...I always say this, I LOVE living here. :)

Oh and I just HAVE to throw Project-K's comment here.

"We should be thankful we have Toronto next to us to absorb all the suck - like how Jupiter draws in all those comets that otherwise would hit the Earth."

:haha:

I love this guy. <3

Looking forward to meeting you Wizniz and Jenny. :gsmile:
