Tao was ridiculously overcrowded for Morillo that's for sure. if we didn't have one of those cabana areas for the girls to kick it in we would have left at 3...also Erick's set until then was a bit lacking.

Luckily he turned it up and brought the heat and from 3am-6am it was rocking in there.

heh - well the 'real summer of love' wasn't just one event. but they've been doing the SOL party for a good 4-5 years in Vegas.

i missed the SOL by 2 years when i lived in London...would have been fun to go to some of those parties that's for sure. one small world thing: we would go clubbing at a venue (Limelight if memory serves) that Dave Dean from Giant promoted when i lived there....not sure if we went to any of his parties but were in the same venue.

Our roadtrip started bright and early!! The first stop once in Vegas was the Palms. Which included the largest breakfast Margarita on the planet and super yummy chips and salsa! Once we got our SOL Tix we went to our hotel and had some more beverages, and chilled poolside.

Sarah and I decided to dress up for SOL, I thought more people would partake in dress up, being it a Rubber event..but..Guess Not..:(

Eddie definately wasn't using his wicked turntable skills that night. I was pretty disappointed with his set. I did see a lot of people I have not seen in years, and met some really cool people as well. And of course it was cool to see the LATA's. :)
We were going in between the inside and outside area. Definately loved the pool area!! While outside dancing around a bit, some dude had the nerve to ask me for my panties.. :whip: WTF?
After a while we all were kinda in bordom mode, and ended up hanging out outside on a giant Mushroom seat, people watching.
We decided fun was done at 3am..which is almost unheard of!!

At least we got some sleep, so we could be rejuvinated for the pool party!
We tried "Rehab" at The Hard Rock, but the line was absolutely INSANE.. I bet it was a 6 hour wait!! :nervous: :wtf:

Plan B.

So off to the Palms we go...:tongue2 That was the funnest pool party ever. Great music all day long!! There were wonderful people ( good karma), drinks, the awesome pool, wonderful company!

We even had a celebrity sighting...:D Andrei Arlovski :toocool:

Once the party was over, we go back to the hotel and get ready for Morillo. Make sure you wear a collard shirt guys.. they were very nitpicky about it!
The line for that was INSANE as well. There are definately EDM angels looking out for us. We get in the line.. and woosh we are in!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!! XOXO
The club was pretty nice as far as decoration, and sound, but the dance floor like Sarah said was so small it was impossible to move.

Too much VIP area roped off, taking up precious dancespace.

I did venture to the front for a bit. It was tolerable for awhile, but at some point being smashed like a sardine just gets old no matter how good the music is. Maybe Im just getting old..?:nervous:

Id say by 2 am I was done.. I couldn't breath, couldn't move, and too many people were knocking into me. Over it! :whip: Sorry Sarah... :(

Time to take a walk.... we ended up at NY NY, for some drinks, the MGM for some food.

Monday, we hit a buffet at the Rio, took some cute pictures, did a little bit of gambling, (next time cash out when I say, "CASH THE F**K OUT!!"):haha: ;)
Then on the road we go.. OIE the drive home was NO FUN!!! 5 hours or so too long! :( Thank you soo much Sarah for driving us!! You rock.. too bad your back seats are like rocks!! JK.. love ya!:D

Good times.. love to the group!! Vegas Rocks!
