Quickly, I would also like to mention that I am going to revert to the system Coup used back in 2003 and 2004 before he handed the administration to me. This means there will be 40 tracks in all battling for the top spot instead of 32.

i don't know if this has already been brought up, but shouldn't remix names be included if the only version of the tune to receive votes is a specific remix?
eg. i may be wrong but can't recall anyone voting for the original of formentera what, so it seems a bit silly having it up there without the remix name |

| so will the tracks from each 6 months go in, or say the asot whores vote en mass in the 2nd voting, would we end up with all their tracks & less from this list which is fairly versatile as far as we're going here |

"Nominations that have various remixes will be considered one song. For example, if someone votes for Elevation - Blinding Truth (Original Mix) and someone else votes for Elevation - Blinding Truth (4AM Dub Mix) these tracks will be considered the same one."
This is from the rules I posted in the nomination thread. I see were your point is valid. However, I can't assume people nominated a certain remix if they didn't add the tag. In my case, I nominated Formentera What?, but I didn't include the remix name although I meant the Albert Vorne Remix. I'll look in to this.

Hey, Ian! Yeah, I've noticed the ASOT-whores tend to show up at the end of the year when the voting season is in full swing, while the musical savants like us tend to participate year round.
Don't worry, the top 20 tunes from this list are locked in and will compete against the top 20 tunes of December's nomination list in the polls. ;) |
