| i really dont like drag cars... thats y i said it. the datsun is nice, but with the engine sticking out loos kinda ty. |

To each his own I suppose...but the datsun has a smallblock chevy engine...its runs a 1/4 mile in about 9 seconds. Function over form. |

if you were smart youd never say fuction over form when it comes to PROPERLY constructed aerodynamic cars. the DTM class cars look beautiful imho and everything is functional and purposeful. |

except those arent DTM class. those are prototype and LM GT2. heres a DTM class car.

I am fully aware of that, that wasn't my point though.
You expect a backyard mechanic to have the million+ dollar budget to pour into a drag car? Or for him to do what he does best and get some junker to go 7 seconds or less in the quarter mile.
Edit: Even with that multi million dollar budget they still don't always get it right. |
