I just don't think it's fun.. a bunch of my friends are Marines and one came back and will be sick with a stomach thing the rest of his life, one is battling PTSD and one went on his fourth tour there. All of these situations are not that bad compared to physical injuries and death.
I've been sick of the news and have been trying to learn as much as I can about the war by reading books from guys that actually saw combat and not one called the war fun.
Your comment of Iraq will be fun is quite disturbing..
You can make a difference other ways like supporting iava.org or other veteran organizations. I just joined Team Semper Fi to support the Injured Marine Fund.. I'm sure that boys and girls that came home without all their limbs didn't have fun.
Or.. if you really think it's so much fun you can stopping talking and sign up to head over there right now. |

war isnt fun all the time,,however being in the military is...I seen more countries than I dare to say any of you will in your lifetime because of the military..

You have serious issues.. your getting all hostel over nothing.. you expressed your opinion which I disagreed with.. that's it. There's no need to get all angry over people who disagree with what you are saying.
You didn't fight in any war.. so don't talk like you know.. and you can stop with your military speeches because I was in the military.

| If there is one thing I have learned for certain on these boards is that Steven is gonna be Steven and he is going to express himself however he chooses whether others like it or not. I don't always agree with him but I respect him for not biting his tounge for anyone. |

and.. that stats are really high for people returning with PTSD.. the rates for Iraq vets are higher than Vietnam vets..
it's really an issue.. the stats for suicides are high also..
