Ha, my last post with this sort of a title seemed to create an argument. I'll word this post really carefully so I don't express certain biases unknowingly. I'll be really clear
Facts: music I listen to as a hobby=mainly trance.
music I've learned about most of my life starting at age 5: classical, music I play on oboe and piano=classical, and sometimes ragtime for the piano.
I listen to classical, rock and punk rock as well as trance, but with classical I usually play or perform it and techno is what I 'mostly' listen to recreationally/dance to when I can.
My 'question', which isn't really having a direction is, are there any more good trance classical remixes out there like William orbit - Barber's adagio for strings and William orbit - Ravel's pavane por un infante difunte (ferry corsten remix)? Or even U96 - Underwater (which takes the tune from Verdi's triumphal march from the opera 'Aida'?) what I'm mainly looking for is trance songs that take tunes from classical music but don't name themselves after the original pieces. Of course, these are harder to find and you usually do it by accident...the ones that are explicitely named after classical pieces, on the other hand, I don't like as much, except for those William Orbit ones...got any suggestions for me? |

Hehe, Clubrobbers - Honey ride this is a remix of Edvard Grieg - Dovregubbens hall.
And a pretty recent one, 2PM - Sonata, is using some famous classical song. Don't remember which one, either Mozart or Beethoven.
None of those are really quality though... |

| as your title suggests i wouldnt say the word techno when you mean trance cause techno is sumthing quite different trust me, just a warning people may bite your head of if you get them confused heh... |
