Call it whatever urban legend you'd like, the beef patties at McDonald's have been really 100% pure beef, for decades. What you see is what you'd normally see, but looks different bc the patty is so thin.
|
Call it what you like, but when i make my own burgers..no matter how thin, they don't have these "bud like" pieces in it. |

Here's the ingredients to Taco Bell's ground meat (taken from the pdf from their site); |
Those are the ingredients for the beef and seasoning. If you look at the soy ingredients, you'll see that they're inside the "seasoning" square brackets. The meat is just plain beef, it does not have any soy fillers.
It's possible that some places do that, but not TB.

lol at the the urban legend that ppl believe that they somehow get away with saying 100% pure beef bc its a company name. ya right. |
It actually is the company name (or at least it was - I think it still is). But it is also regular beef. Technically, McDonald's could get away with such a thing if it wasn't pure beef, but a company named "100% Pure Beef" would not legally get away with calling themselves that if they didn't actually distribute 100% pure beef. That would be like me starting a company called "Best Veggie Burgers and Dogs" and selling horse meat. :p |

True it's part of the seasoning, but s=Sorry to break it to ya... it's "Seasoned Beef", so it's not 100%, I didn't change any words, because Taco Bell can't legally call it anything else.
/oh.. to add... http://www.snopes.com/horrors/food/coweyes.asp talks about odd accusations of "100% Pure Beef" companies, eyeballs and feathers in McDonald's foods. |

I get explosive ty bum the next day so I lay off. Plus my cousin worked at one in London in the late 90s and it almost got shut down by the health inspector for cockroach turds in the meat.
