Hi there,id like to ask everyone if they know of any way to get speakers and heaphones work together in a pc with only one soundcard(sb live on me),with a dj program like traktor other than using a double line out thing to get two lines, and if that's possible please advise on how to do it!
Thanx a lot |

I believe that is possible, but then you only have mono sound. There is a way to use two diffrent mono channels with one soundcard, but I never heard a way to do so with 2 stereo channels..... |

The best way to do it is to connect ur soundcard to an external amplifier (stereos) and then connect the speakers and headphones to the amplifier.. that's how u get the stereo sound with the easiest way. |

I was gonna write some really interesting information to reply to your question.
THEN...
I realised that everyone else had already done it :p |

a soundcard prepared for (at least) 4 speakers will do the trick... the soundblaster live for an instance, use one output for your speakers, the other one for your headphones - both will be in stereo |

My headphones plug into my speakers :)
But you can get splitters to offer 2 outs from the one, get them from any audio place :)
Kinda thing which is you can use with walkmans, so 2 peeps can listen to one walkman with 2 sets of ear phones
