I gave this a proper headphone listen this morning as soon as I woke up. Love the flow, and the mixing is dead on. There are some great, long blends in here - just the way I like 'em.
Highlights of the mix for me were:
Jay Lumen vs. Tobias Hoppe-One Moment(a dawn on the beach mix)
Ray+Peter-Spacesuit
Dale Anderson+Keenan-Promises
Benz+MD-Dead Calm
The synths in Spacesuit reminded me very much of Emerson, Lake, & Palmer's "Brain Salad Surgery" album. I used to listen to that vinyl when I was growing up. Cheers again for this mix. |

Wicked mate, glad it hit the right spot! The flow of the set is a very important consideration for me, so Im happy u got the feel of it. Luckiy these sort of tunes lend themselves quite well to long subtle mixing, which again doesnt disrupt the flow.
As for the 'spacesuit' track, I loved the warm spacey feel to it initialy, but wasnt to sure about the almost random synth hits during it, luckily it works and has really grown on me.
Cheers for taking the time out to listen and review, very interesting to hear peoples thoughts. Ta!:) |

Id say its more proggy than trancey... Though all the progressive in the mix has trance sensibilities, i.e. melodic and emotional. The mix itself starts chilled and deep before flowing into more trancey territory.
Hope u like it mate:) |

| i'll probably like the more chilled and deep part more. not a huge trance fan, but i do like a lot of chilled/melodic prog. haven't heard any for a while. i downloaded it last night, so i'll give it a listen tonight when i get home and let u know. |
