Djm 400 vs. Ecler Nuo 2 ...

Im planning to buy a new mixer (Old one is 80 euros) :, so I was wondering...

Which would you preffer. Theres a "slight" difference in prices, the djm400 being 500 euros, and the nuo2 340 euros.
I also like pio's built-in efx. BUT yet again its a nearly 200 price difference...

Thanks in advance

Try out both if you can, that will help you make the decision.

Also, I haven't used either deck but I'm presuming that the Ecler has better sound quality and uses better quality components - I may be wrong though.

I just know that when I was deciding between a DJM600 and an Ecler Nuo5 (both the same price), everywhere I read said how much better the Nuo5 is to the 600 in terms of quality sound and components.

I never got either in the end though :p

^Good point for those models but the sound on the 400/800 is much better than the 300/600. Check 'em both out if you can.

I did check the both of them, and I'm kinda suprised that the eq's on the nuo2 are better than the 400's (The kills really kill).

But also I must say that I love 400's efx & sampler. But I decided to give the pio a go.

Thanks for the help

I've heard great things about the Eclers except for them being mid-heavy in the eq, at least for their Nuo line but I've never tried them myself.

DJMs are clubs standarts, along with the Xones. I say, DJM is the way to go.
